Drive 10-minutes from Heathcote and you arrive at Munari Wines. The property is steeped in history, established in 1879 by Andrew Robert Morris.
His family holds their place in Heathcote history, establishing Heathcote’s first hotel - the Mt Ida Hotel, now the site of the National Australian Bank, and turning his house into a second hotel when gaining a license. Andrew Robert established his home, named Moorburn after his Scottish family home, with a 3200 acerage. The original house and farm is now Munari Wines.
