FLOOD RECOVERY FUND

This natural disaster is a distressing time for many regional Victorians, whether their homes have been inundated, temporarily displaced, or lost part of the business they have given so much. The Getaway Traveller has set up the Regional Victoria Flood Recovery Fund to support flood-affected Victorians in need.

The funds will support recovery efforts like removing debris and nurturing injured livestock, buying food or fodder, and hiring or purchasing materials to clean up affected properties. We will work with local government officials to help identify the affected communities that need it most.

These floods will profoundly impact the mental health and well-being of individuals, families and communities – we want everyone to know there is support for them whenever they need it.
